Founded by William C. “Bill” Ellis, Jr. in 1981, Esco Industries, Inc. has grown from a single-plant operation located in
Douglas, Georgia, to five plants covering the Southeastern United States. These additional locations include
Randleman, North Carolina; Lakeland, Florida; Hartselle, Alabama; and Waco, Texas.
From the beginning, Mr. Ellis’ proven leadership and vision took the company from simply laminating products for
the manufactured housing industry and expanding into modular housing, industrial, and retail markets.
Growth from long-term customer relationships and proven customer satisfaction, achieved through a solid
partnership with its leading vendors and suppliers has been key to ESCO’s success.
From one man’s vision to what is now a family-owned business led by second-generation William C. “Will” Ellis III,
